What are the requirements for receiving a DEC?

*The DEC will be issued only if the student has demonstrated adequate progress in the prior semester and has not dropped out of school.
*A student is required to show an original or certified copy of his or her birth certificate to ensure that the student’s legal name and correct date of birth appear on the DEC.
*The Driver Education Completion Certificate is required to verify that the student has passed the required driver education class.
