What if the full $550 million is not available?

The school system’s needs are in priority order. If funds are not available to cover $550 million worth of projects, lower priority renovations may have to be part of the next funding plan or alternative sources may have to be identified. The important point is that each project will retain its priority; no project will fall off the list.

PLAN 2004 is one segment of a continuous capital improvement program. As long as Wake County continues to grow, and our existing facilities continue to age, it will be necessary to invest in new school construction and renovation.
