Yes, WCPSS incorporated 27 of the CAC’s 28 recommendations in PLAN 2000, and continued to incorporate them in PLAN 2004.
The CAC was a dedicated citizens group, made up of both supporters and opponents of the 1999 failed school bond referendum, that was charged with recommending an acceptable capital spending plan to address the needs for new schools, renovations to existing schools, other facilities, and technology.
