Salary schedules for all positions can be found on the Wake County Public School System website at http://www.wcpss.net/salary-schedules/.
Certified employees are paid based on three factors: 1) their job (e.g. teacher, assistant principal, guidance counselor, etc.), 2) the years of experience on their North Carolina educator’s license, including relevant experience earned outside of North Carolina and verified through the licensure process and 3) the level of education associated with their educator’s license or is directly related to the area of assignment.
Please note that many certified positions are paid on the teacher salary schedules. Each salary schedule contains a list of positions paid from that schedule.
Many noncertified employees can find a separate salary schedule for their position. If the position does not have a separate salary schedule, then the appropriate schedule can be found under Staff (noncertified), administrators, or technology. Each salary schedule contains a list of positions paid from that schedule.
