Schools need to follow simple conservation guidelines in order to be successful:
Turn off lights whenever you leave a room.
Keep exterior windows and doors closed when the heat and air conditioning system is operating.
Turn off computers and all other equipment (except file servers) at the end of the day.
When setting up small meetings, do so using mobile units so as to avoid operating on the school's major heat and air conditioning system.
Report any temperature problems to the main office so that they may call Energy Management immediately.
