Why is the custodian paid for so many hours for a WCPSS facility rental?

The custodian arrives prior to the agency’s beginning time, as stated on the Facility Use Application, Form 2900, to disarm the security system and to do a preliminary facility check. The custodian remains on site and is available to provide assistance to the agency during the event. When the agency’s program is completed and all participants have departed the premises, the custodian must clean and secure the facility.
