Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students have many opportunities to participate in a wide variety of after-school activities including clubs and performing groups. Students that are not present at school are not permitted to attend any after-school activities or practices that day.

Description:
Cheer club is held during the Spring sport season for 6th and 7th grade students. In cheer club, we work on specific tumbling skills based on each participant’s level as well as learning and practicing stunting techniques. We also practice basic cheer skills such as jumps, motions, and flexibility. All skills levels are invited to join, it is a great opportunity to learn something new and practice this active and exciting sport!

Mrs. Nelson and Mr. Fogelsonger are excited to announce that LRMS Coding Club is back! We use Google CS First to do Video Game Coding with Scratch. Coding Club will hold two sessions for the '16-'17 School Year. Each session lasts for 8 weeks. The club meets on selected Tuesdays in the Media Center from 3:15 - 4:30. Sessions are concluded for this year. Check out the other clubs for a place to get involved.

Description:
Video Game Club is a recreational gathering place that meets in our school's computer lab every Thursday from 3:30-4:30. It is open to students in grades 6 through 8 who choose to collaborate and play digital games. They may play, share ideas and gaming strategies with others. Kids there have a blast being amidst others that enjoy video game playing just like them.
