Table 5. 2011-12. 143,289 students are enrolled in 163 schools. 32.4 percent of students are participating in the Free and Reduced-Price Lunch Program (F&R). Of 7.9 percent of students identified with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), 4.3 percent are enrolled in English as a Second Language Program (ESL). The overall campus capacity is for 158,795 students (including 1,161 temporary classrooms), with crowding percent of 90.2 percent.
