The Auditors Recommended:

“Develop, revise, and adopt board policies and administrative regulations to communicate governance expectations, provide adequate direction to employees, and establish a framework for accountability regarding curriculum management and related functions of the district.” (p. 354)

What This Means To The Community:

The auditors found that the Wake County Public School System board policies and administrative regulations and procedures should be improved to provide control and overall direction for the district in curriculum management efforts. Specifically, adequate policies are needed to direct:
