  5. Express your appreciation for his/her involvement in this project
  6.  
  7. Share some information about yourself (grade level, interests, future
  8. plans, family connections to this particular historical period, etc.)      
  9. Include your home address, telephone number, and best time to reach you
  10.    
  11. Let your link know that you will call him/her within 5-7 days to start the interview process.
