Donations needed for The Diaper Train
The Diaper Train provides diapers and other supplies to low-income families in Wake County, improving the lives of babies and toddlers. The program is run by volunteers and serves 1,000 children each month. You can help! Your donations of diapers, baby wipes, and used children’s books will go to families in need in our community. Just bring your donations to room 204 or the main office by June 1st!

Tuesday, May19, 2015 – JROTC Awards Ceremony and Change of Command
Attention JROTC cadets. The JROTC awards ceremony and change of command will be held on Tuesday, May 19th at the Lutheran Resurrection Church. You and your family are invited to attend. The ceremony begins at 7:00 PM. Come to the JROTC office for details.
Wednesday, May 20, 2015 - Senior Night in the Gym
Senior Night is the kick-off event for the "Graduation Events." It is the first of three occasions when seniors will wear their caps and gowns to participate in a formal event. It will be held in the CHS Gymnasium on Wednesday, May 20th, at 7pm. Leave home early because traffic is a problem! Seniors must bring a package of pre-packaged cookies to this event. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 – CHS Senior Yard Sign Pick-up
If you pre-ordered a CHS 2015 Senior Yard Sign, the official pick-up will be Wednesday, May 20, following the SENIOR NIGHT Ceremony. Friday, May 22, 2015 - Senior Awards Day
Cary High School Senior Awards Day is held on Friday, May 22nd, at 8:45am in the Gym. Juniors and Seniors attend, and are dismissed from their first period classes. Seniors are to wear their caps and gowns and proper graduation attire. The Senior Picnic will follow the Awards Day Assembly in the football stadium adjacent to the school. Parents are welcome to attend Senior Awards Day, but most parents do not attend this event unless specifically invited by the CHS Staff.
Friday, May 22, 2015 - Senior Picnic
The Senior Picnic is held at the football field after the Senior Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 22nd. There is food and music for all Seniors. It is wise for the seniors to bring a change of clothes to school that day, so that they don’t get their nice clothes dirty. Thank you to the PTSA and the Senior Activities Committee for this fun event! Donations/volunteers are still needed!

The Fine Arts Department proudly presents the Spring Band Concert Thursday, May 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Please come for an enjoyable evening filled with music featuring our CHS Bands. Admission is free.
Friday, May 29, 2015 – Pigfest and Spring Scrimmage at the CHS Football Stadium
Please support the Cary High Football team on Friday, May 29, and purchase a BBQ plate at the team's first annual PigFest! The team will have spring practice May 18-29 and end the week with a team scrimmage on May 29 at 6pm. This is a great time to meet our new football coaches and see the team in action! BBQ plates cost $8 and will include bbq, slaw, baked beans, roll, dessert and a drink. Tickets will not be pre-sold so come early to guarantee a delicious dinner from 4:00 - 6:30pm.
The Band will be representing Cary High School and the state of North Carolina in the 2016 Macy’s Day Parade in New York City. Out of 175 applicants Cary High School Marching Band was selected to be one of ten marching bands to perform in this iconic event. More details to follow, stay tuned…
