Students at Enloe Magnet High raised money with the school’s annual charity ball to benefit InterAct, a local organization that provides safety and support for domestic violence victims.
The school held its 8th annual Charity Ball at Marbles Kids Museum on December 15. The school’s student council organized the event and made the decision to donate the proceeds to InterAct. Students were joined at the ball by Leigh Duque, the Executive Director of InterAct of Wake County
This year is Enloe’s 50th anniversary and the school’s student council challenged the school community to raise $1,000 for each year the school has been open. The night of the event, student council presented InterAct with a $50,300 check, more money raised than by any other previous charity ball.
