Underwood Elementary Receives Sir Walter Raleigh Award
March 15,2005--Underwood Elementary School's PLAN 2000 addition and renovation project received a Sir Walter Raleigh Award for Community Appearance from the City of Raleigh.
Jyoti Sharma, director of Facility Planning, recognized the team at the March 15, 2005 Board of Education meeting. The team includes Larry Sherrill, WCPSS facility planner; William Hartley and Court Crosby, WCPSS project managers; Mary Ann Kearney, principal; Davis Kane Architects; and D.S. Simmons, contractor.
