Base Nodes Out:

Reasons for Staff Recommendations

Capacity:  No change is planned for the ten mobile units at Stough. This should reserve enough capacity to allow placement of approximately 120 traditional calendar requests at the school.

Crowding:  Crowding was not a concern at this school in the development of these recommendations

Healthy Schools:  The Board decided that the percentage of students from low-income families, currently 46%, be reduced to make the school more comparable to neighboring schools. The reassignment of node 143.1 will reduce the percentage to approximately 39%.

Long Range Planning:  Future schools opening in 2009, 2010, and 2011 are not expected to significantly impact the attendance area of this school.
