Reasons for Staff Recommendations
Capacity: No change is planned for the Lead Mine campus.
Crowding: Crowding was not a concern at this school in the development of these recommendations because slow growth in the existing attendance area is anticipated.
Healthy Schools: The percentage of students from low-income families is too high at Lead Mine. Staff has recommended reassignment of a node that will reduce the existing percentage to about 37%.
Long Range Planning: Future schools opening in 2009, 2010, and 2011 are not expected to significantly impact the attendance area of this school.
