Impact if Approved by the Board of Education
Approximately 61 students from node 061.0 will be reassigned from Kingswood to Green Hope Elementary and approximately 24 students from node 367.3 will be reassigned from Kingswood to Reedy Creek Elementary.

Reasons for Staff Recommendations
Capacity: No mobile units can be placed on the Kingswood campus.
Crowding: Staff recommendations will reduce the base area to alleviate overcrowding.
Healthy Schools: Staff recommendations will reduce the percentage of students from low-income families from its current level of 41% to approximately 32%, which will make Kingswood more comparable to other schools.
Long Range Planning: Future schools opening in 2009, 2010, and 2011 are not expected to significantly impact the attendance area of this school.
