Impact if Approved by the Board of Education
Approximately 12 students from node 315.5 will be reassigned from Jeffreys Grove to York as part of the change recommended for the York base area in response to the opening of Sycamore Creek and reconfiguration of a base area for Hilburn. Approximately 38 students from node 343.1 will be reassigned from Baileywick to Jeffreys Grove to reduce overcrowding at Baileywick. Approximately 11 students from node 068.0 will be reassigned from Briarcliff to Baileywick to consolidate the assignment of a downtown neighborhood.

Reasons for Staff Recommendations
Capacity: No change is planned for the three mobile units at Jeffreys Grove. Adjustments in the base area are recommended to fully utilize the capacity at Jeffreys Grove.
Crowding: Crowding was not a concern at this school in the development of these recommendations
Healthy Schools: The demographic mix of students was not a concern at this school in the development of these recommendations
Long Range Planning: Future schools opening in 2009, 2010, and 2011 are not expected to significantly impact the attendance area of this school.
