Impact if Approved by the Board of Education
The Board decided that a relatively new spot node 748.0 with about 10 students be reassigned from Reedy Creek to Carpenter. Reedy Creek will remain the traditional calendar application option for the node. In addition, approximately 79 students from node 044.2, currently assigned to Weatherstone, will be assigned to Carpenter. Many of the students from this node are from low-income families. A few year-round application students will be impacted who reside in the reassigned base nodes.
