Maps: These are zoomable PDF files.
Membership Capacity: These charts compare the projected number of students for the 2012-13 school year at elementary, middle, and high school levels to the available school capacity in the 2012-13 school year in each zone of the appropriate map. Please note that these numbers reflect only students residing in each zone and do not take into account any current assignments.
School List: These charts list all schools that are located within each zone in the appropriate map.
Comments: Comments on maps with blue header backgrounds will be accepted through the end-of-the-day Sept 27.
Comments on maps with grey header backgrounds are no longer being accepted.
Assignment Zone Sample - Revised Sept. 28, 2010
At the Sept. 28 meeting, the Student Assignment Committee modified the High School Attendance Zone Model. The committee is soliciting public comment to aid it in refining the regions and zones. Tentative Attendance Zone Map
At the August 31 meeting, the Student Assignment Committee selected the High School Attendance Zone Model as a basis for developing a new community-based school assignment plan and directed staff to bring additional information on it at the next meeting. The committee is soliciting public comment to aid it in refining the regions and zones.
