The Wake County Public School System has always been the cornerstone of our community's quality of life. To the same degree that we provide for the education of our young people, we ensure a successful future for our children and for all who live here. As more than 100,000 students enter Wake classrooms in the summer of 2001, the new school year promises to set even higher standards for student achievement, teacher quality, parental choice, and community involvement.
