Lake Myra Elementary Prepares for Single Track

Lake Myra Elementary will welcome students to the first day of the 2011-12 school year on August 1.

Lake Myra is one of five under-enrolled year-round schools that will operate on a single-track for the next two years. The change will bring operational savings during a time of shrinking education budgets.

Principal Jim Argent and his staff said they have worked to minimize the impact of going single track on families.
