Bobby Guthrie, the Wake County Public School System Athletics Director, has been chosen the National Coach Educator of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations.
Guthrie was the first to be accredited in NC by the association and has been a leader in teaching and encouraging participation by WCPSS athletic coaches.
