Fifteen WCPSS teachers have been named as semifinalists for the Diane Kent-Parker First Year Teacher Award. The first-year teachers recognized by their peers for their professionalism and dedication to children include:

The selection committee members will interview the semifinalists and then name eight finalists. The Diane Kent-Parker First Year Teacher Award recipients will be honored at the WCPSS Teacher of the Year banquet on May 13.
