Parents who have children heading to college or in college now know about FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Filling out this form is the starting point for consideration for any financial assistance for students attending a college or university.
On Feb. 13, area colleges will be assisting parents in getting the federal form filled and ready for submission.
Ellen Wardlaw is the financial aid advisor at Sanderson High. Wardlaw says each WCPSS high school has a financial aid advisor who can talk with parents about the FAFSA form and the opportunities for financial aid.
