A long stranding tradition at Mt. Vernon Middle School is the cooking of Turkey in the Hole. It’s a holiday event that brings together students, families, teachers and the community.
Teachers Rob Harris Cannon and Vanette McKinney say the event is a special part of the school year that brings people together.
