Students are staging a variety of theatre productions at WCPSS high schools in the coming weeks.
Wakefield High presents as part of its Educational Matinee Series You’re a good man, Charlie Brown! At 10:30 a.m. on October 7-9 and October 14-16 in the school auditorium. There is one evening performance for the general public at 7 p.m. on October 16. General Admission is $5 at the door.
Wake Forest Rolesville High (located at the Heritage High campus for 2009-10) presents Wind of 1000 Tales at 7 p.m. on October 8-10 in the school auditorium.
Enloe High presents The Odyssey at 7 p.m. on October 8, 9, 10, 15, 17, 22, 23 and 24. Tickets are $6.
Broughton High presents Moon Over Buffalo at 7 p.m., October 15, 16 and 18. Tickets are $5.
Knightdale High presents Paco Peco at 7 p.m. on October 22-24 in the school auditorium. Paco Peco is a musical comedy written by Randy Bryant, a Knightdale High Spanish teacher. Admission is $5.00.
Wake Forest-Rolesville High (located at the Heritage High campus for 2009-10) presents Greg Banks’ Antigone at 7 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 24 in the school auditorium.
The Green Hope High Drama Club is presenting The Plays of Robert Frost at 7 p.m. on November 5 and 6. The production has original music student composed music. The three plays are student directed.
Sanderson High presents Amadeus at 7 p.m. on November 5-7 in the school auditorium.
Apex High presents Antigone at 7:30 p.m., November 5 and 7 in the school auditorium.
Leesville Road High presents Dracula at 7 p.m. on November 5-7 in the school auditorium. Tickets are $8.
Panther Creek High presents the Jungalbook November 13 and 14 in the school’s auditorium.
Holly Springs High presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged at 7 p.m., November 19-21. Tickets are $7.
