In reviewing the recommendations from the Citizens Facility Advisory Committee, the Wake County Board of Education gave its continued support to the CFAC recommendations concerning maximizing the number of joint use sites and development of a methodology for identifying potential joint use projects.
Zackery Davis of the WCPSS Real Estate department oversees the joint use agreements. Level 3 and Level 4 agreements involve joint use mainly between the school system and municipalities. There are agreements at 54 schools and 16 more are in the works.
