At its August 18 meeting, the Board of Education named Ericka Lucas as principal at East Wake School of Arts, Education and Global Studies.
Lucas has served as assistant principal of Wake Forest Rolesville High since 2007. Prior to that, she was assistant principal at Durant Road Middle and an assistant principal intern and teacher at Wake Forest Rolesville Middle.
The board named Dorothy McGirt as an assistant principal at Middle Creek High, Laura Brown assistant principal at Davis Drive Middle and retired principal Edward Gainor as an interim assistant principal at Brier Creek Elementary.
