At its August 4 meeting, the Board of Education named Camille Hedrick as principal at Apex Middle School.
Dr. Hedrick has served as assistant principal of Lufkin Road Middle since 2006. Prior to that, she was a teacher at Lufkin Road Middle. Before coming to WCPSS, Hedrick was a teacher in Virginia public schools. She earned her doctorate in education leadership from George Mason University.
The board named James Douglas as an assistant principal at Stough Elementary, retired principal Craig Matthews as an interim assistant principal at Lockhart Elementary and retired principal Judy Dudley as interim assistant principal at Carver Elementary.
