Superintendent Del Burns told the Wake County Board of Education May 6 that the 2008 Teacher Assistant of the Year has been named, Wakefield High School has earned honors and WCPSS bus drivers will be competing in the state bus roadeo.

Superintendent Del Burns told the Wake County Board of Education today that 10 finalists have been named for Wake County Teacher of the Year and thousands of teacher candidates were interviewed at the 2008 Spring Teacher Job Fair recently.

Superintendent Del Burns told the Wake County Board of Education today that six students earned scholarships in a national competition and WCPSS employees earned honors at national meetings.
