Colonel Thomas Finnerty leads the Navy Junior ROTC program at Cary High School. Finnerty says there are 18 seniors graduating from a JROTC program with 128 students. The program has been at Cary High for 13 years.
Finnerty says six of the students have earned scholarships. Several are headed to NC State University and one has been accepted on a ROTC scholarship to Duke University.
