New State Graduation Requirements and WCPSS Goal

The State Board of Education has new graduation requirements they're calling the Future Ready Core. The new requirements were approved in 2007 and high school juniors who will be in the Class of 2010 will be the first required to meet the standards.

Ruth Steidinger, WCPSS Senior Director for High School Curriculum and Instruction, talked with the Wake County Board of Education recently about the Future Ready Core requirements impact on WCPSS students and connection to the WCPSS Goal.
