Superintendent Del Burns told the Wake County Board of Education October 7 that 11 WCPSS seniors were named National Merit Scholarship Achievement semifinalists and two Fuquay Varina High students spoke at the 2008 Environmental Systems Research Institute International User Conference in San Diego, California.
