Coaches leading WCPSS athletic teams are teaching character education and sportsmanship to their student athletes.
WCPSS Athletic Director Bobby Guthrie said the school system's eight character traits of courage, self-discipline, perseverance, integrity, respect, responsibility, kindness and good judgment are important to athletics.
