Eight Cary High students were named NC Teaching Fellows, the largest number for any high school in the Wake County Public School System.
Students named NC Teaching Fellows earn a four-year scholarship to a North Carolina college or university to earn an education degree and agree that after receiving their degree, they will teach in a North Carolina school for at least four years.
Cary High Principal Doug Thilman and three of the Teaching Fellows talk about the honor and what it means for them.
