At its meeting yesterday, the Board of Education heard about the Graduation Project, a new requirement put in place by the State Board of Education that will be required for graduation beginning with students who entered high school in 2006-07.
Dr. Sherri Merritt, WCPSS Director of K-12 Literacy Programs; Sara Overby, Athens Drive High Graduation Project coordinator; and Abby Stotsenberg, WCPSS Middle Schools Social Studies coordinator and former Southeast Raleigh High teacher talked about the Graduation Project with the school board.
