If you walk the halls of Poe Elementary School, you will notice the Montessori-themed magnet school has signs of peace. The calm hallways are one result of the Montessori instruction on peace, a word common in the vocabulary of Poe students.
We talked with students, teachers and Principal Sally Reynolds about the Peace Rose, the Peace Pole and other signs of peace at Poe.
