The National Board of Professional Teaching Standards has reported on the teachers across the nation who earned certification this year. WCPSS has the second largest number of teachers of any school system in the nation teaching in our schools.
With 169 teachers earning certification, the WCPSS Class of 2007 was the largest of any school district in the state.
Earning certification is a demanding process for teachers. Southeast Raleigh High teachers LaTonya Coley, Allison McMunn and Margaret Snellgroves earned certification this year and talk about the process.
