East Garner Middle School assistant principal Carla Hoffman and eighth grade social studies teacher Andrea Plakmeyer are visiting a middle school in Puebla, Mexico to develop plans for joint instructional projects for students.
Hoffman says the conversations will help the two schools build bridges to provide students opportunities to learn together and from each other.
