Sanderson Partners with Nanjing China

The principal, assistant principal, dean of students and head of instructional technology from Zhonghua School in Nanjing, China are visiting Sanderson High School this week.

This initial visit between the schools will set the foundation for a long term sustainable relationship that will enable the students and teachers from both schools to learn from and with each other.

Sanderson has been working with the North Carolina Center for International Understanding in developing this program. The delegation from Nanjing will spend the week of April 22-28 visiting Sanderson, learning the educational system and discussing the parameters of the exchange between the two schools. Sanderson will send a delegation to China in October of this year for a reciprocal visit where the partnership will be formalized.

The concept of the exchange is to foster a greater understanding of cultural similarities and differences by working on joint educational projects and areas of interest to students and teachers of both schools.
