Congratulations to Davis Drive Elementary, selected by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2006 No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon School. The Blue Ribbon program "honors public and private K-12 schools that are either academically superior in their states or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement."
This is the eleventh time a WCPSS school has been named a Blue Ribbon school -- counting Davis Drive Elementary's previous turn as a Blue Ribbon school in 2001. Again, congratulations to the hardworking students, teachers, parents and staff at Davis Drive Elementary!
