Jeff Nash, our "Answer Man" on The School Connection, writes:
Recently, The School Connection offered a television segment on the highly anticipated Miracle League coming soon to its new home at Adams Elementary in Cary. Well, we are pleased to announce the first pitch will be thrown this Saturday, September 16. Many children are signed up to play baseball and are eagerly awaiting their first game.
The purpose of the Miracle League is to provide opportunities for children with mental or physical disabilities to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. So come on out and root, root, root for the home team.
