Students who just returned to school for the start of the 2006-07 school year received rave reviews for their performance in the Broadway Series South production of the musical Aida. The August 2006 production included 38 student actors and 18 student musicians. Eric Sciotto, who was in the original Broadway Cast of AIDA where he understudied and performed the role of Radames, directed the students in the Broadway Series South production.
