The Wake County Board of Education is changing its regular meeting times for the next couple of months. From July 18 through September 19, the school board is scheduled to begin its meetings at 2:00 p.m. rather than 4:00 p.m. Before that, the board will meet as a Committee of the Whole from noon until 2:00 p.m.
As before, citizens who wish to speak during the public hearing portion of the board meeting should sign up prior to its start. The sign-up sheets are set up outside the board room an hour before the meeting begins.
