The Wake County Public School System will hold a job fair for Child Nutrition Services positions and school bus drivers from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, in Southeast Raleigh High School's cafeteria.
For those interested in child nutrition positions, there will be stations set up for screening, recipe reading, lifting, cashiering and a kitchen tour. CNS will hold interviews and extend job offers after applicants complete a screening process, which will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Foodservice experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Ten-month and 12-month, full and part time positions are available. Interviews for management positions will also be held during the job fair.
Those interested in becoming a school bus driver must meet the qualifications listed at http://www.wcpss.net/transportation/qualifications.html, which include being at least 18 years old, possessing a valid N.C. driver's license, and having a clear driving record. Full time positions are available. After WCPSS Human Resources and the N.C. Department of Motor Vehicles review applicants, the school system will extend offers for individuals to attend the DMV's school bus driver training class to earn license endorsements required for the job.
