Superintendent's Retirement Announcement Online

At today's meeting of the Wake County Board of Education, Superintendent Bill McNeal announced his retirement from the Wake County Public School System effective June 30, 2006. He will become the executive director of the North Carolina Association of School Administrators on July 1, 2006.
