  • Makes modifications to meet the changing needs dictated through federal, state and local governing agencies.
  • Maintains the Human Resources Management System which includes a payroll application for 19,000+ full and part time employees.
Student Information Applications
  • Maintains the integrated related application, NC WISE.
  • Is responsible for storing, managing, and preserving the massive amount of student information maintained by the school district.
  • Provides data for end user reporting needs.
Web Services
  • Provides the technical architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of the Intranet web site.
  • Works closely with departmental/school contacts to web enable information and provide technical assistance and support for their individual web sites.
  • Provides the maintenance and support for collaborative systems such as BlackBoard and School Messenger and is responsible for developing policies and guidelines regarding these system wide web applications.
