• In an effort to align ourselves with Child Nutrition standards, ensure students are not exposed to allergens, and maintain consistency between classes, please adhere to the following guidelines when providing snacks for your class:

    • All snacks are to be pre-approved by the teacher in order to avoid food allergies.
    • All snacks should be “healthy.” This includes for birthday celebrations. Some examples of healthy snacks include: fruit (fresh, dried, fruit cups/pouches), veggies & dip, crackers & cheese, graham crackers, teddy grahams, pretzels, yogurt, popcorn.  
    • These guidelines apply to both the classroom and the cafeteria.
