    Magnet Classical Greek I

    This course will provide the basic skills of the language with emphasis on vocabulary, reading, and writing. Information regarding Greek roots and etymolgies used in English, as well as life, history and customs of the people will be included.

    Magnet Classical Greek II

    This course continues to build upon the knowledge gained in the level one course. The vocabulary and technical language skills are increased extensively through reading selections. Further study of the life, history, and customs of the people is included.

    Magnet Classical Greek III

    This is a reading based course designed to master grammar concepts gained in previous levels and to prepare students for reading advanced Greek texts. A survey of Greek authors enables students to appreciate the renowned reputations of the ancient Greeks as well as to situate these ancient texts in their appropriate cultural and literacy contexts. Selected authors include Herodotus, Sophocles, New Testament, and Apollonius Rhodius.
