• Visual Art Courses

    Students must start with either Visual Art or Magnet Digital Art beginning classes before moving on to take an intermediate class.  Proficient and advanced classes must have the specified prerequisites.

    Intermediate  Sculpture/Ceramics  Drawing Printmaking/Textiles Magnet Digital Photography  Computer GraphicsArt and Animation 
     Proficient Sculpture/Ceramics 2 Drawing 2
     Painting
    (printmaking is NOT a prerequisite for painting)
     Magnet Digital Imaging Advanced Computer Graphics 
     Advanced Sculpture/Ceramics 3 AP studio (2D and 3D) and Visual Art 4

    **Freshmen may be able to skip the beginning level classes if they complete a portfolio review. Portfolio must demonstrate an understanding of elements and principles, and include examples of life drawing, portraits, perspective, color theory and 3D work.
